Effective with claim dates of service on and after December 11, 2023, the consult code services payment policy will apply to Alaska providers on a 2010 or more current RBRVS fee schedule.
Consultation services previously reported using either outpatient consult codes (99242-99245) or inpatient consult codes (99252-99255) should be reported using an appropriated new or established Evaluation and Management (E/M) office visit code after the date noted above.
