Our Preferred Agency Program rewards you based on the number of new and renewing members in your book. We're updating this program for 2022 to focus exclusively on the Individual line of business. This means you'll see new tiers, membership requirements, and compensation that better aligns with the current market landscape.
What's changing?
- Only your individual members will count toward your Preferred Agency status. Currently, we include both your individual and Medicare book of business when determining your agency's tier. Starting in 2022, only your individual book will be considered.
- We're adding a middle tier for 60-99 individual lives. This will provide a unique compensation level for those working toward the top tier.
Why are we changing the program?
We're constantly evaluating the current market and our business goals. With a Preferred Agency Program that focuses entirely on the individual market, we'll be better equipped to support agencies looking to grow their individual book.
Many agencies will not be impacted by these changes. Additionally, these changes will not impact your compensation for Premera Medicare plans in any way.
The following is staying the same in 2022:
- Members are counted at the agency level, and include both your LifeWise and Premera individual members.
- Tier 1 producers will continue to:
- Receive commission at $17 pmpm.
- Be eligible for our bonus program
- Have access to Producer Support
- You'll continued to earn a commission of $17 pmpm for LifeWise grandfathered members, regardless of Preferred Agency tier.
