Strengthening Our Behavioral Health Network

General News
Published August 24, 2020

The COVID-19 health crisis and growing national conversation on the importance of mental health means more of our members are seeking care from our behavioral health providers. We value our members and their whole health, and want to offer them a quality, robust network of providers to choose from.

That’s why LifeWise has been actively recruiting—reaching out to targeted out-of-network providers that are already serving our members and encouraging them to join our network. We see this as a win-win initiative: members maximize their benefits when they receive in-network care, and providers can increase their visibility and grow their practice.

LifeWise will continue to seek out ways to improve our behavioral health network and services. It’s an important part of our commitment to help make healthcare work better.

Here are a few more important facts about our commitment to supporting the whole health of our members:

  • All of our individual and family health plans include mental and behavioral health coverage.
  • There are virtual care options for mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders.
  • Members can quickly check if a provider is in their plan's network by signing in and using our Find Care tool to search by provider name or specialty.
