See if your client qualifies for LifeWise Health Plan of Washington health coverage during the special enrollment period.
If your client has experienced a qualifying life event, they may be able to apply for healthcare coverage now during our special enrollment period. To be eligible, your client will need:
- Proof of Washington state residency
- A completed application with supporting documentation received within 60 days of the life event.
Note: In addition to the listed requirements, additional documentation of the live event may be required.
Special enrollment period qualifying life events
- Marriage or domestic partnership
- Birth, adoption, foster care, or guardianship
- Loss of coverage as a dependent as a result of death, divorce, or domestic partnership termination
- Dependent losing coverage due to age
- Loss of COBRA coverage
- Loss of employer-sponsored coverage
- Loss of coverage due to a permanent move
- Loss of coverage on Medicaid or another public program
- Expiration of a non-calendar year policy
- Eligibility change for tax credits and/or cost share reductions
- System or human errors by your state or federal health plan
- Late eligibility
