Individual and Family Health Plans

LifeWise offers health plans for individuals and families in 35 counties across Washington state.

Open enrollment runs from November 1 through January 15. Outside of these dates, your clients can enroll if they’ve experienced a qualifying life event.

Key things to know about public option expansion in 2023

  • We expanded our Cascade Select (public option) plans to 15 counties in 2023, bringing affordable, easy-to-understand options to more members.
  • PeaceHealth and Confluence are now part of our LifeWise Alpine network, which serves Cascade Select plan members.
  • Our Cascade Care (standard) plans are available in 20 counties. LifeWise is automatically enrolling Cascade Care (standard) plan members in the 15 Cascade Select counties to the identical Cascade Select (public option) plan.

Benefit highlights

  • Preventive care is covered in full on all plans—exams, screenings, and vaccinations (including the COVID-19 vaccination).
  • Generic drugs have a low copay and no deductible for non-HSA plans.
    No referrals to see doctors and specialists in our network.
  • Pediatric vision exam is covered on all plans, including no-cost pediatric eyewear.
  • The explore my benefits site helps members easily find clear and simple highlights for commonly used benefits.
  • Virtual care coverage that includes primary care, behavioral and mental health, and substance use disorders.
